I'm a technology enthustiast that enjoys sharing my knowlege about a wide variety of computer related topics.
I have a bachelors degree in Information Technology from the University of Missouri-Kansas City.
Currently I work as a network analyst for an algorithmic trading firm in the Midwest. My primary focus is optimizing networks and servers for extreme low latency operation. As a registered representative for a broker-dealer I hold both the FINRA Series 7 and Series 63 licenses.
Previously I worked as a field technician providing onsite computer and network support for hundreds of clients in the Kansas City area.
I enjoy working with Linux and have an interest in embedded devices. I'm also a big fan, and supporter of the pfSense project which is based on FreeBSD.
